Day 1 CCTV headquarters, Wangfujing Street, Tian’anmen Square, Yandaixie Street

Upon your arrival, our guide and driver will be waiting for you at the exit area. On your way to the downtown, you will pass the magnificent CCTV headquarters where you can stop and take some amazing photos. Then, you will continue to the very heart of Beijing - Tian’anmen and Wangfujing area, which, under the illuminating lights, seem more charming. You will see tons of locals coming out at night for entertainment and all the malls, shops, restaurants, theaters, stores are busy with people. If you like, our guide will take you to explore the rich night market culture and shop in some malls. Nearby the Tian’anmen Square, you are also presented with Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Mao Zedong Memorial Hall and many other towering buildings.

Afterwards, we will leave for the Bell and Drum Tower located nearby the Yandaixie Street. Functioning as the gateway to the Bell & Drum Tower, Yandaixie Street is a featured street for cultural stuff like antiques, paintings, calligraphy works, arts, crafts, etc.. It’s a great place to explore the old Beijing necessities. Further into the street, you will see the Bell & Drum Tower. You can’t get on the tower, but you are rewarded with the splendid night view of the towers.

If time permits, you can spend more quality time with our guide in Shichahai area and enjoy the beautiful views of sleepless Beijing before being transferred back to airport.
