Upon your arrival at the Capital International Airport, your personal guide and driver will be waiting for you and ready to take you to the tour. Please look out for the sign with your name written on.
The journey from airport to the Mutianyu Great Wall takes about 1.5 hours and on the way, your personal guide will brief you about the tour. The entire tour takes about 6 hours and you will have 2-3 hours at the sight. Mutianyu Great Wall is the essence of Ming Dynasty Great Wall and a unique section among all Great Wall sections. There are many watchtowers, passes, and crenels densely arranged. Being surrounded by mountains, the Mutianyu Great Wall offers different landscapes in different times. In spring, wild flowers are fighting for attention. In summer, layers of mountains turn to green and the streams nearby gurgle away. In autumn, red maples spread everywhere. In winter, the Great Wall looks like a white giant dragon crouching among the mountain. You will not only admire the stunning views, but learn a lot of interesting stories behind the wall.
About 3 hours before your flight, your driver will transfer you back to your airport.
