Explore the three most important sites in one day. Skip the line and have more time to closely scrutinize the Forbidden City, and learn about the Ming and Qing Dynasties’ royal life. Visit Xi'an's holiest and most historically significant sights on this two-day tour of Shaanxi Province, all without the hassle of arranging transport or booking your own tickets. On the first day, visit the Terracotta Warriors in nearby Lintong and then spend the afternoon walking Xi’an’s ancient city wall; on the second day, travel east to the precipitous and intimidating Mount Huashan and hike up some of the mountain’s many peaks.
Xian has recently become an online celebrity city in China, one of the major reasons being its splendid night views that draw many tourists. Taking this three hour trip will enable you to enjoy the most glamorous part of Xian at night. The City Wall may seem old during the day time, but it is very modern at night under the shower of colorful lights. Going south, you will be deeply attracted by the majestic view of another must-see sight - the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Surrounded by crowds moving around, elders practicing Chinese calligraphy on the ground with big brush, middle-aged folks dancing and singing, you will have a mixed feeling of being in the old times. Following the lead of your guide, you will go to the Tang Dynasty Sleepless City to be further astonished by the great night view.
This tour is specially designed for those travelers who only have limited time in Xi’an. It provides a chance to get close to the locals by visiting a lovely morning market, to catch a glimpse of the downtown city whilst cycling on the 640 year old wall, and to practice Chinese calligraphy with a writing brush in a quaint building. The total length of the tour is around 4 hours with a professional licensed national tour guide who knows the city and it’s people and who speaks fluent English. The tour will take place mainly on foot, on public buses for a short distance transfer and bicycles in a pretty safe environment. In this show, you will enjoy a comprehensive performance of Tang Dynasty dance and music, from which the affluence of the Tang Dynasty society is fully unveiled before your eyes. Meanwhile, Xian is a food paradise where various local specialties are revered and savoured. On this tour, you will be able to taste the Dumpling Banquet. Unlike usual homemade dumplings, you will enjoy a real imperial banquet filled with all kinds of stuffed dumplings in different shapes.
Join in the local people's daily lives and get a taste of traditional Chinese culture, folk religion and Tai Chi while visiting the local communities, morning markets, parks and the temple hidden in a corner of the city! You will meet curious locals who would like to say “Nihao” to you, you will be welcomed to join them in their activities and you will be showered with enthusiastic hospitality. Not to mention the highlight of learning Tai Chi (Shadow Boxing) in its home with an old master and the opportunity to dress up like a Kung Fu master. In addition there is the option of a vegetarian lunch in the temple.

Your guide will accompany you to take a local Tuktuk and explore the hidden restaurants for authentic food including Chinese Hamburger, Pita Bread Soaked in Mutton Soup, Cold Noodles, Pomegranate juice, Sweet Rice with Chinese Dates etc. Through this tour, you will gain a deeper understanding of the Xian food culture.
This cooking class is specially designed for foodies who enjoy cooking and are also interested in learning about a local life. From choosing your ingredients in the wet market, to making your own lunch with what you bought, to finally tasting what you made, this process will introduce you to the unique local cooking and culinary culture. You will visit the local market in the morning and then get to know the cooking utensils that the Chinese use. Your host will show you how to use the utensils and how to make authentic local dishes. You will get your hands dirty and learn how to make Biang Biang Noodles, Steamed Buns with Fillings, Dumplings, etc..
