It has been my dream to visit the Terracotta warriors in Xi'an and hence, when I got the opportunity, I was determined to go with an excellent guide to see them. Michael came very highly recommended from a friend and he was really good! He had a lot of knowledge of and passion for the history of China and put everything into context to help us understand why the terracotta warriors were such a stunning achievement. While the cave dwelling visit was ok (although tasting fresh persimmon fruit was great!), the Hangliyang museum was also very interesting to give you an idea of the opulence of Chinese emperors back in the day. He also took us to a truly excellent place for lunch where we tried metre long biang biang noodles.
Overall highly recommend this tour if you want a knowledgeable guide and are a true history buff!
