Overview:

When speaking of Kung fu or martial art, many people think of China. It’s hard to eliminate the stereotype that all Chinese can practice Kung Fu. The fact is not every Chinese person is capable of practicing Kung Fu. Most of them don’t. Perhaps earlier than any other practitioners, Bruce Lee opened the eyes of the Western world to the fascinating practices of Chinese martial arts; now the worldwide followers of the various related disciplines are in the millions. If you are sick of just sitting in front of the screen to see it you are most welcome to join this experience and see with your own eyes how Kung fu is performed.

The show is named "The Legend of Kung Fu". The story follows the life adventures of a young boy found wandering outside an ancient temple. Like every boy in China, he dreams of becoming a Kung Fu master. On the road to enlightenment, the young monk encounters many difficulties and temptations. There are seven chapters all together.

A little boy left his beloved mother and went to the Buddhist temple to be a monk and learn Kung fu. He was renamed Chun Yi.

Chapter two: Kung fu Learning
Chun Yi began to learn Kung fu and practice it day and night. Soon he became a young monk with outstanding Kung fu skills.

Chapter three: Further refinement
Chun Yi practiced more to better his Kung fu skills and became almost invincible.

Chapter four: Outside Temptation
As he reached a certain age, he craved women so much that he simply couldn’t keep on with his monastic life.

Chapter five: Introspection
He realized his obstacle and he isolated himself from the outside world as punishment. Eventually, he developed  full insight into life.

Chapter six: Temple Gate Challenge
The Temple Gate Challenge is the most significant ritual for a monk to acquire honors. Chun Yi challengesd himself and broke every one of the defence layers that his brother monks have created. He finally achieves his honors.

Chapter seven:
Chun Yi inherits his master monk’s job and becomes an abbot of the temple. One day, a little boy is sent here and he will have to teach him. A new life cycle begins again.
